Opening our doors in 2009, Total Medication Management Services (Tomms Pharmacy) offers a brand new concept in medication management. Committed to the care home and domiciliary sectors, our experienced and fully qualified team provides a truly bespoke service with attention to detail which matters. Tomms Pharmacy strives to tailor its service specifically to the needs and wants for each and every home, as we understand every caring environment is different.

Utilising the innovative Biodose Monitored Dosage System (MDS), Tomms Pharmacy provide a fresh solution to managing your medication. Offering distinct advances on many outdated MDS alternatives, we are able to deliver the UK’s first medication tray capable of sealing dosed liquid medication as well your service user’s solid oral medication requirements.  Every Biodose tray consists of 28 individually printed pods, each labelled with the service users name, date, medication and time to be taken.  Additionally, with a tamper evident seal and the revolutionary Bio-cote protection designed to reduce the risk of MRSA, this system has distinguished itself as a next generation MDS. Amongst the other benefits from Biodose include cutting edge Medication Administration Records that display both the service user photograph and any tablets or capsules, for easy identification and confident administration.

In addition to our core services and as part of our ongoing commitment to improve professional development, Tomms Pharmacy offer each client the opportunity for assistance in achieving compliance with CQC regulations. We are able to provide specialist workshops on dressings, unlicensed medicines and a heavily discounted City & Guilds accredited “Medication Training for Care Workers” package. Broken down into four convenient units to test students awareness of issues in involved in medicines management, Tomms Pharmacy delivers owners with a valued indication to the quality of care and knowledge within their organisation. All successful staff will receive certificates of completion, an invaluable tool for future CQC visits.
